Building profile standards

Property-specific descriptions, amenities, fees, policies, floor plans, and nearby-place information should be based on a current property source, licensed data, direct property communication, or another reliable source. Unverified information should not be written as a confirmed property fact.

Building pages can be marked noindex while incomplete, duplicated, or awaiting sufficient verification. A page should be reviewed after material property changes or when a correction is received.

Estimates and representative content

Estimated pricing must be labeled as estimated. Representative images, floor plans, or examples must not be presented as photographs or inventory from a specific property. Current pricing, availability, concessions, fees, and policies should always be confirmed directly with the property.

Renter guides

Renter guides provide general educational information and should avoid unsupported legal, financial, safety, school-quality, or neighborhood claims. Users should consult official agencies or qualified professionals for decisions requiring legal, financial, insurance, flood, fair-housing, or other specialized guidance.

Corrections

Correction requests should identify the page, disputed information, and a current supporting source. Material corrections should be made promptly, and verification dates should be updated only when the underlying information has actually been reviewed.
